Specific Dimensions

The Specific Dimensions option allows a user to specify the exact dimensions of the 3D Printed orthosis.

These Specific Dimensions will be followed exactly, therefore it is recommended that you provide highly accurate measurement if opting to use this Device Option.

Placing markings on the patients foot prior to 3D scanning is a great way to ensure that the dimensions of a 3D Printed orthosis are to your specification. This is only possible with 3D scanners that capture per-vertex colour information.

Medial Arch Height (mm)

The height of the peak of the Medial Longitudinal Arch of the 3D Printed orthosis.

Lateral Arch Height (mm)

The height of the peak of the Lateral Longitudinal Arch of the 3D Printed orthosis.

Medial Heel Height (mm)

The height of the peak of the medial heel cup of the 3D Printed orthosis.

Lateral Heel Height (mm)

The height of the peak of the lateral heel cup of the 3D Printed orthosis.

Heel Width (mm)

The width at the heel of the 3D Printed orthosis.

Midfoot Width (mm)

The width at the midfoot of the 3D Printed orthosis.

Forefoot Width (mm)

The width at the forefoot of the 3D Printed orthosis.

Maintain Transverse Arch

The Maintain Transverse Arch option can be selected when a user would like the transverse arch to be intrinsically maintained based on the foot morphology.

The image below shows a wireframe view of a 3D scan with a forefoot valgus alignment.

The image below shows the transverse arch region in red, which will be maintained if Maintain Plantarflexed First Ray is selected.

3D Printed orthosis is commonly not a full length product. Please be aware that this request may be limited by this factor.
