Specific Dimensions

The Specific Dimensions option allows a user to specify the exact dimensions of the Vacuum Formed orthosis.

Warning

These Specific Dimensions will be followed exactly, therefore it is recommended that you provide highly accurate measurement if opting to use this Device Option.


Tip

Placing markings on the patients foot prior to 3D scanning is a great way to ensure that the dimensions of a Vacuum Formed orthosis are to your specification. This is only possible with 3D scanners that capture per-vertex colour information.

Medial Arch Height (mm)

The height of the peak of the Medial Longitudinal Arch of the Vacuum Formed orthosis.

The height of the peak of the Lateral Longitudinal Arch of the Vacuum Formed orthosis.

The height of the peak of the medial heel cup of the Vacuum Formed orthosis.

Maintain Transverse Arch

The Maintain Transverse Arch option can be selected when a user would like the transverse arch to be intrinsically maintained based on the foot morphology.
