Create New Prescription, or select an Active Job and click Continue

- Import a 3D scan from the 3D Scans page of LaserCAM PrescribeConnect the USB cable into both the scanner and the USB port on your PC
Turn on the scanner by pressing in the red button on the side of the scanner

If the LaserCAM VPS is connected correctly, your PC should beep when you turn on the scanner. |
Configure LaserCAM VPS
Open LaserCAM Prescribe
Click New Prescription
You may pick any available prescription method
Click 3D Scans
Click the Devices dropdown from the top right hand corner of the screen
Select LaserCAM VPS

Capture 3D Scan
Position the scanner appropriately in relation to the foot.
Click Scan Left Foot/Scan Right Foot → desired time delay
Hold the foot in a desired position and wait for the scanning process to begin
Allow the scanner to complete two passes (up and back)
A 3D scan will now appear within your left foot window in LaserCAM Prescribeclick Import and select desired 3D scan
Orientate 3D Scan
Click the view cube that provides a posterior heel view
Orientate the scan in the frontal plane

Measure the heel bisection using the Measure Right-Angle tool
Click Clinical Measures
Enter your measurement in Scan Angle
