Overview

General information

• The EXO-L is custom made to fit the user. Using high end 3D scan and
  print technology. The only ankle brace in the world do be created like
  this.

• The EXO-L allows complete freedom of movement except inversion.
  You cannot roll your ankle.

• The EXO-L was designed in the Netherlands in 2012. There are now
  close to 15,000 users around the world.

• The cord acts like a seatbelt for your ankle by attaching a patch onto
  the side of your shoe. You can tighten the cord to your level of liking.
  The EXO-L is really quick and easy to put on, This can be done in under
  20 seconds per side.

• It sits outside your shoe, unlike other braces that are big and bulky,
  and you have to stuff into your shoe.

• There is no skin irritation as there is no tape or adhesive involved.
  The EXO-L is light weight (100g), starts as a powder and becomes a
  hard plastic with the use of a high-powered laser

• The EXO-L cord and silver clamp are from a sailing and abseiling
  background so are very strong and reliable. They can cope with huge
  force being put through them.

• Any pair of shoes that you would like to wear the brace with must
  have these patches sewn onto the side.

• We have a Network of quality bootmakers around Australia and NZL
  who will do this work for you.

• The shoes must not cover the ankle bones. For example, high top
  hiking or basketball boots.

• An environmentally conscious choice as strapping tape is not
  reusable.

EXO-L UP (specifically designed for foot drop)

The EXO-L UP is extremely lightweight and subtle compared to other
AFO's on the market.
It and can easily be worn under jeans and pants.
Not only does it control your foot position with the side cord but it
also dorsiflexes/pulls up the top of your foot so that your foot can
clear the ground and you have a heel strike.
Any shoe you wish to wear this brace with must have a patch sewn
onto both the side and the distal top of your shoe.
You can tighten the cords to your level of liking.
Being custom made, the brace is really comfortable and can be worn
for long periods.

Colour

Currently we are offering the Exo Brace in Black with more colour options to come.

Lining

We use 4mm thick EVA lining for all braces.

Engraving

You can choose up to 10 characters to have engraved on each Exo Brace.
