SOP: Creating NC file using ViewRouter

The following illustrates a standard operating procedure (SOP) for creating an NC file using ViewRouter.

Prerequisites

ViewRouter installed

ViewRouter configured for your specific LaserCAM CNC System

Access to decrypted NC files

Goals

Procedure

Selecting Mill Configuration

1. Open ViewRouter

2. Click Files → Select Mill

3. Select the appropriate MillCFG file from the list

4. Click Accept

Load NC Files

1. Click Job → Create Job

2. Click the File Name box in line with Index 1

   1. This corresponds to P1 on your CNC

3. Double click NC file from Files list

   1. This corresponds to a left or right orthosis toolpath for a specific patient

4. Repeat as required for remaining positions

5. Click Refresh Grid

6. Click Close

Build NC Files

1. Click Process → Build File

2. Click Process

3. Click Save

Print Job List

1. Click Job → View Job

2. Click Print (Default Printer)
